Two things were born during the Summer lockdown of 2020; my first baby, William, and the idea for The Little Luggage Co.

We had the opportunity for a UK staycation holiday so I started searching for a bag or suitcase for William's things. Having dealt with a month in hospital due to William being eight weeks premature, a husband who broke his leg the day we got William home, and exclusively pumping 24 hours a day; I knew my baby brain was incapable of planning exactly what I needed for myself as well as a baby, so giving up space in my luggage was not an option.

I really struggled to find something gender neutral that wasn't covered with Disney or Marvel characters, and was designed more for the purpose of luggage than a changing bag. Most importantly I wanted it to be William's bag or suitcase, but to not have to compromise on my own personal taste; I had already lost so much of my pre-Mummy identity!

Thinking I couldn't be alone in wanting this, I conducted some market research. When a shocking amount of people confessed to using a 'bag for life' for packing for their baby, it became clear that the Little Luggage Co had to become a reality. Using my extensive career experience in fashion buying and merchandising, I took the plunge and started designing and sourcing our first collection. We've since welcomed a new #LLCexplorer into our family; baby Harvey was born just as our first shipment arrived in the UK! 

The Little Luggage Co is focussed on cleverly designed products that you'll want to use for child after child. We're especially passionate about gender neutral design and believe unisex doesn't have to be beige and boring; equally you won't find any stereotypical pink princess or blue dinosaurs here.
